All About Australian Rugby

Australian rugby is not doing so well at the moment. With the recent loss to England the team does not look nearly motivated enough to go and win a match. After today's performances of the Wallabies vs Ireland and New Zealand vs England we'll have a good gauge to see how far behind Australia are of their Southern Hemisphere Rugby Union rivals.
There have been changes to the Australian side to face Ireland in Dublin today in the form of Greg Holmes and David Fitter both starting a Test for the first time. Matt Dunning has been injured while Al Baxter has been moved to the bench.
I still have Australia set to win this one but not by as much as the hiding handed to Ireland a week ago by the rampant All Blacks. Let's wait and see...

Date - 04/08/2005 - George Gregan maintains his side will break through and beat the Springboks on South African soil.
He likened the national rugby side's dilemma to that of the Australian cricketers struggle to win in India for many years with this comment: "I think that with Australian rugby it's pretty similar to the Aussie cricketers and I think once we crack it, then there will be just this amazing belief that we can win everywhere."
